    Overview

    We are seeking a reliable and skilled part-time maintenance engineer to help keep our facility operating safely, efficiently, and at a high standard. In this role, you will support routine maintenance, respond to repair needs, and assist with preventative upkeep across building systems and equipment.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine inspections of facilities, systems, and equipment to identify maintenance needs
    • Carry out basic repairs and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building components
    • Support preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise
    • Monitor equipment performance and report concerns or recurring problems
    • Assist with minor installations, replacements, and adjustments as needed
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
    • Work collaboratively with other team members, contractors, and site personnel
    • Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any follow-up required
    • Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and applicable regulations

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or building operations preferred
    • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general repair work
    • Ability to diagnose issues and complete practical repairs efficiently
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment
    • Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures
    • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve standing, lifting, bending, and climbing
