Position Overview

A condominium association in Boynton Beach is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and general upkeep of a property.

This is a hands-on position involving indoor and outdoor work throughout the community. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working independently, and takes pride in keeping common areas clean, safe, and well maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general grounds cleaning and litter removal.

  • Use a blower to clean walkways and common areas.

  • Operate a golf cart to travel throughout the property.

  • Sweep, mop, and empty trash in common areas.

  • Clean and maintain laundry rooms, elevators, walls, fans, and stainless-steel surfaces.

  • Remove spider webs and dust from light fixtures, building entrances, and walkways.

  • Hose down, scrub, and bleach designated areas as directed.

  • Maintain dumpster and recycling areas by removing trash, debris, and shrub clippings.

  • Clean and organize storage rooms throughout the property.

  • Replace light bulbs and sprinkler heads as needed.

  • Conduct routine lighting inspections throughout the community.

  • Trim low branches and remove fallen berries or other debris around garden walkways.

  • Vacuum and clear air-conditioning condensation lines when directed.

  • Complete other light maintenance and property-upkeep tasks assigned by the Property Manager.

Qualifications

  • Able to perform physically active duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors.

  • Comfortable using a blower and operating a golf cart.

  • Previous maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, or property-care experience is preferred.

  • Friendly and professional when interacting with residents and staff.

  • Able to direct residents to the management office for maintenance requests rather than accepting work requests directly.

  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean property.

  • Contingent on a background check

Work Environment
