Adhere to federal and state laws, as well as district policies, procedures, and regulations. Essential FunctionsPerform required clerical duties according to standard practices while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Operate basic office machines to include computers, copy machines, scanners, etc. Perform basic data entry and report development; filing, copying, and other duties associated with the specific position. Act as a resource for students, parents, teachers, staff, administrators, and/or the general public as appropriate to assist administration in providing information services. Collaborates and communicates with administrators, counselors, clerks, students and parents regarding attendance for credit, loss of credit recovery and student LOC contracts. Frequently communicates with students to provide the student with updates on the progress of a principal's plan or loss of credit contract. Frequently communicates with campus administration to provide updates and information regarding students with excessive absences. Works closely with campus administration, counselors, and clerks regarding students with high absenteeism as well as those who have not responded to the efforts made by campus administration. Monitors and updates loss of credit console as well as uploads and makes necessary notes on activities pertaining to loss of credit contracts. Attendance at the work site is required to meet essential functions of the job.
