The Hotel Lobby Ambassador serves as the welcoming face of the resort, creating a positive first impression for guests. This role focuses on greeting guests, providing information and directions, assisting with guest inquiries, and enhancing the overall guest experience through proactive and personalized service.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and throughout their stay.
• Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, dining outlets, events, and local attractions.
• Assist guests with directions to guest rooms, meeting spaces, restaurants, recreational facilities, and nearby destinations.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
• Answer guest questions and resolve minor concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest service.
• Monitor lobby areas to maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized environment.
• Recognize VIPs, loyalty program members, and special occasions to deliver personalized service.
• Provide recommendations for local restaurants, transportation options, shopping, and entertainment.
• Support hotel initiatives aimed at increasing guest service scores and loyalty.
• Collaborating with Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering and Food & Beverage to handle guest requests efficiently, ensuring follow-through and timely resolution.
• Lobby Ambassador reports directly to the Guest Experience Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and work in indoor and outdoor guest-facing environments as needed.

• Exceptional customer service and hospitality mindset

• Effective verbal communication skills.

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to provide full availability and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
