About the Role:
Every Special Child is looking for a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Intervention Specialist to join their team in Columbus, OH. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special needs by providing targeted support and individualized instruction. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
• Provide direct instruction and intervention services to students with disabilities or developmental delays
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and progress
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities

Requirements:

• Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist license
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with children with disabilities, developmental delays, or special needs
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance requirements
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient, and student-centered approach to education
• Ability to work flexible part-time hours as needed
