Job Summary
The School of Education at Dalton State College invites applicants for a part time instructor of education position for Fall and Spring semester. Candidates must be prepared to teach undergraduate-level courses elementary math methods of education.

Responsibilities
The standard teaching load is 7 credits per semester
May be required to teach day, evening, or online courses
Required Qualifications
Earned Masters or Specialist degree in Education or related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in education
Expertise/experience in one or more areas: (a) knowledge of elementary mathematics content (b) knowledge of general elementary/secondary education
A minimum of three years of experience teaching mathematics in a K-12 classroom setting
Preferred Qualifications
Evidence of successful teaching in post-secondary educational settings
Demonstrated potential of scholarly productivity
Commitment to collaboration with public schools and colleagues
Experience working with students similar to the population at DSC
Earned Doctorate
