Job Summary

Department of Computer Science and Information Technology invites applications for Part-Time Instructor in Computer Science and Information Technology to begin in Fall 2026.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in computer science and/or information technology.

  • Must be enthusiastic about teaching a variety of courses in computer science and/or information technology.

  • Must be eligible for employment in the United States at the time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In addition to academic credentials, industry credentials such as Cisco CCNA and/or CISSP certification, and/or recent industry experience are desirable.

  • Experience in college-level teaching is desired, along with knowledge of mainstream technologies for teaching computing courses.

  • This position is ideal for candidates who are ABD in an appropriate field.

Required Documents to Attach

Each applicant must submit an application with the following documents: 1) a letter of interest summarizing the applicants qualifications, 2) a current curriculum vita, 3) a statement of teaching philosophy, 4) copies of transcripts for all college and graduate coursework, and 5) at least three letters of recommendation, two of which must address the candidates teaching ability.
