Organization Information Paris has a proud tradition dating back to 1866. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Our rich tradition of academic excellence combined with a low student/teacher ratio enables us to provide a private school atmosphere in a public school setting. Adhering to a dress code and strict code of conduct allows students to concentrate on academics. Our district provides the following opportunities: advanced placement and college dual credit courses, Board Examination Sytem, NAF Health Science Academy, gifted education, world languages, vocational programs, athletic programs, band, academic teams, student technology leadership, and after-school and summer opportunities for students. Our high school's 2010 KCCT scores rank 18th in the state and ACT scores rank 36th out of 174 KY school districts. Paris High School was listed in US News and World Report as among the best high schools in the country for 2007 and 2008. Vacancy ID 20252026 - 06511 Position Category Other (Student Services) Title Part-Time Instructional Coach SY 26-27 Description Description: Paris City Schools is seeking a highly skilled, results-driven Instructional Coach to serve a 100-day targeted assignment at Paris High School and Paris Middle School. This role is designed to accelerate student achievement through high-quality Tier 1 instruction, aligned to the Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS) and the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) expectations for instructional coaching and continuous improvement. The Instructional Coach will work directly with teachers, PLC teams, and school leadership to strengthen instructional practices, improve student engagement, and increase proficiency outcomes. This is a non-evaluative, job-embedded support role focused on building teacher capacity and driving measurable academic gains.
