About Our Family

We're a busy, warm, and energetic family of five with three young kids and a lot of love in our home. Both parents work full-time and are navigating dynamic schedules — splitting time between home, a nearby coworking space, and occasional travel. Life moves fast around here, and it's a good kind of fast. We recently moved into our home and are still settling in, which means there is a real opportunity to help us build systems, create organization, and make this house feel like a well-run home.

We have an au pair who handles all childcare, including pickups, drop-offs, and kids' activities, so this role is purely focused on supporting the household itself. We also have weekly cleaners and are looking for someone who can step in as a true partner in keeping the home running smoothly — from meal preparation and grocery management to organization, household projects, and the many details that make family life easier.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership and runs with it. Someone who loves to cook and understands that coming home to a thoughtfully prepared meal can transform the end of a busy day. Someone who enjoys organizing, creating systems, and finding satisfaction in making a home feel calm and functional — without needing a to-do list handed to them. If you naturally see what needs to be done and take pride in a job well done, you'll fit right in here.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

  • Walk into a room and immediately see what needs to be done — then do it, without being asked
  • Bring genuine enthusiasm for cooking; not a professional chef, but someone who takes real pride in putting a healthy, delicious meal on the table
  • Anticipate needs before they become problems — whether that's a restocked fridge, an upcoming birthday, or seasonal clothing that needs swapping out
  • Operate independently and confidently; thrive without micromanagement and never add to the family's mental load
  • Stay organized and bring that energy to every corner of the home — systems, spaces, and schedules
  • Show up reliably, on time, every time — accountability is non-negotiable
  • Engage warmly and naturally with young children when paths cross; comfortable in a lively, kid-filled home
  • Bring experience managing a home, organizing household systems, or supporting a family in a similar capacity — this role is best suited for someone who is confident taking ownership and creating structure without needing constant direction.
