Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is currently seeking Part-time General Drivers for hiring safety-minded individuals to join our team as Part-time Evaluation Drivers in the Livonia area. Whether you're a seasoned professional, a veteran, or a retiree looking for a flexible, rewarding gig - this is your chance to get behind the wheel of the latest pre-production vehicles and help shape the future of automotive innovation. The ideal candidate will possess 2 years of US driving experience and a good driving record. Candidates meeting the requirements for this position below are strongly encouraged to apply.
Shifts: - AM day shift: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday - Sunday)
- PM night shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Monday - Sunday)
- The site operates 7 days/week however, you will only be scheduled based upon your availability
- Flexible scheduling with AM day shifts available
Responsibilities of Drivers: - Test drive pre-production vehicles for an automotive Tier 1 supplier
- Evaluate performance, durability, comfort and vehicle noise abnormalities while providing real-time feedback
- Drive in small groups on pre-planned routes
- Test drivers are not required to have any automotive technical experience
Compensation for Drivers:
- General drivers can earn $14.00/hr. on AM shifts and $14.50/hr. on PM shifts & ALL weekend shifts
- Chauffeur drivers can earn up to $18.00/hr. when driving qualified chauffeur vehicles only
- CDL-A drivers can earn up to $20.00/hr. when driving qualified CDL-A vehicles only
Requirements: - Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and a good driving record
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Minimum 2 years driving experience in the U.S.
- Must have air brake endorsement
- Able to pass a written driving test, read maps and follow directions
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills (in English)
