Temporary Part-Time GL Accountant
Location: Hawaiian Gardens, CA
Schedule: Part-Time, Temporary, Variable Schedule
We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to provide temporary, part-time accounting support for a company in Hawaiian Gardens, CA. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on GL work and has the flexibility to accommodate a schedule that may vary from week to week.

Days and hours may vary based on business needs
Weekly schedule is not guaranteed to be consistent
Candidates must be comfortable with changing start/end times or workdays when needed

Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries
Perform general ledger account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and period-end close
Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
Research and resolve account discrepancies
Prepare supporting schedules and accounting reports
Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, and account analysis
Maintain accurate accounting documentation
Provide additional accounting support as business needs fluctuate
Qualifications
Previous general ledger/accounting experience
Strong understanding of debits, credits, reconciliations, and journal entries
Experience supporting month-end close
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Must be comfortable working a flexible and variable part-time schedule
Pay Details: $36.00 to $42.00 per hour
