Part Time Food Service Cashier

Académie Lafayette is seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Part-Time Food Service Cashier to join our team at our Oak Campus. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a vibrant school community!

Schedule This is a part-time position with two daily shifts:

7:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. 10:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Compensation $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Accurately ring up student and staff lunches in a timely and efficient manner Assist with meal service setup and cleanup before and after each service period Ensure that all unused trays are properly accounted for and returned at the conclusion of each service period Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming food service environment Provide friendly, positive interactions with students and staff throughout the service period Follow all food service policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

Prior cashier or food service experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Friendly, professional, and dependable Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks including lifting trays and supplies Must pass a background check and Missouri Family Care Safety Registry screening prior to beginning work
