We’re looking for a part-time captain who loves managing special events. You’ll manage the event team and work with our sales team, clients, and other vendors to ensure your events run smoothly. Depending upon experience, you will be paid a starting base wage between $26 and $30 per hour plus:
- Bar Tips shared equally between all staff members working the event
- Event Tips (pooled with FOH/BOH Staff on a bi-weekly basis)
- CO Mandated Sick Leave

Responsibilities
- Communicate with on-site staff through clear banquet event orders to ensure event logistic needs are met
- Facilitate all events to confirm event details are executed, providing exceptional service from event set-up to tear-down
- Take part in walk-throughs and document them thoroughly
- Communicate walk-through notes with Sales and ensure proposals are properly updated with correct staff counts, timelines, and other logistics
- Pack china/flatware/glassware/buffet décor/tablecloths/napkins/service utensils for events and carry with you to the event venue
- Prepare and follow proper checklist procedures to make sure everything is packed (when leaving kitchen) and accounted for at the end of the event (when returning from venue)
- Manage events and evaluate the success of each event
- Supervise and train serving staff in all necessary functions to ensure a smooth event and excellent customer experience
- Assess and document the outcome of each event to propel future improvement upon all processes
- Follow responsible alcohol service policies (if serving alcohol)
- Always on time, appropriately dressed, and ready to perform required duties
- Perform other related functions that may be assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients and other team members
- Must have a high school diploma or GED, and an associate degree in a related field is preferred
- Exceptional time management, problem-solving, and organization skills
- At least 15 years of experience captaining events
