    Summary of Position

    Position Information

    Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments will be remote for this program.

    Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

    Qualifications and Competencies

    Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None

    Sponsorship and/or Work Authorization Status: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

    Minimum Qualifications: An earned doctoral degree in higher education administration or related field; five or more years full-time experience in higher education administration; knowledge of higher education law, policies, and regulations and of higher education financial operations, assessment, evaluation, and accreditation; must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

    Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching in higher education settings; experience in student advising or mentoring. A demonstrable track record of scholarly research, publications, or contributions to the field of higher education administration. Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in higher education administration, such as student information systems and database management tools. The capacity to collaborate with colleagues, faculty, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals and solve problems. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience managing multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

    Physical Requirements: In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work.

    Sedentary: work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as Sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other Sedentary criteria are met.
