The Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State University houses one of the largest undergraduate majors on campus.
The Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State University offers a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Minor in Psychology, as well as a Master of Arts degree with a specialization in Clinical Psychology. A number of opportunities for increased engagement within the discipline of Psychology exist, including internships and practica, opportunities for gaining research experience via the department's laboratory for faculty and student scholarship, the Honors Program in Psychology, Psi Chi, and the Psychology Club.
The department has ample lab space including an eye tracker and two Biopacs but does not have animal facilities for animal research.

Essential Duties
The Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State University seeks qualified and committed Part Time Faculty beginning September 2026, who are enthusiastic teachers and dedicated to working with undergraduates.

Applicants should possess:
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Psychology.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Psychology is preferred.
Teaching experience preferred.

This posting is for potential part-time, non-benefited, day program faculty positions in the Psychology Department. The current salary rate for a typical 3 credit lecture course taught by a new part-time faculty member in the day program is $4,005.00, paid through bi-weekly payroll direct deposit. Rates may vary for other course types based on contact hour equivalencies.
