Position Description:

  • Monitor events and facility activities for the Workforce & Economic Development department in the Training Center, providing scheduling and implementation assistance for community, business, and professional organizations to ensure the customers needs and specifications are met prior to and on the day of the event in the Training Center.
  • Assist WED Resource Coordinator with daily facility operations, especially during transitional times. Ensure detailed database entry of scheduling for WED classes within the Training Center. Accurately creates, distributes and troubleshoots daily reports.
  • Set up rooms, place tables and required equipment, manage rooms once setup is complete.
  • Assist instructors and clients with live class issues/needs, to include audio visual trouble shooting and room setup. Distribute material shipments, including instructional materials for meetings.
  • Setup and assist guests with audio/visual needs.
  • Report technical issues as they occur and notify help desk technicians as required.
  • Ensure that post-event room configuration is completed after each event, including cleanup, equipment inventory, and equipment condition.
  • Work closely with the district's evening facilities team.
  • Work closely with One-Stop support team.

Job Requirements:

This position requires a minimum of two years of business experience with face-to-face customer service, proficiency in data entry, ability to utilize computer database and ability to transport & troubleshoot to work independently.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Shift:

Varies; work schedule for this position is MondayFriday, with availability to work up to 19 hours per week between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The schedule also includes one Saturday per month.

Salary Schedule:

Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees

Hiring Range:

$17 per hour
