Part Time Evening Vehicle/Equipment Service Worker

Duties may include but are not limited to: perform skilled service and maintenance duties including repairs, greasing, lubricating, fueling equipment and servicing of City vehicles, automotive equipment, truck, and/or heavy construction equipment. Perform semi-skilled mechanical duties, including the general repair, maintenance, and safety inspection of gasoline, diesel, automotive, and heavy equipment used by City departments.

The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department, Street/Fleet Division is accepting applications for a Vehicle/Equipment Service Worker. This is a part-time, evening, non-benefitted position involving up to 28 hours per week. Duties may include but are not limited to: perform skilled service and maintenance duties including repairs, greasing, lubricating, fueling equipment and servicing of City vehicles, automotive equipment, truck, and/or heavy construction equipment. Perform semi-skilled mechanical duties, including the general repair, maintenance, and safety inspection of gasoline, diesel, automotive, and heavy equipment used by City departments.

Qualifications and Skills:

Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience. Steel-toed boots and work uniforms will be provided. Hours for the position are Monday – Friday, evenings between 5pm-10pm, with a flexible start time.
