Part Time Dishwasher/Utility

This position makes a difference in one of our residents' favorite moments, their fine dining experience! Our menu is rich in options and carefully selected by our chefs, but this must be served on a spotless setting, your chance to ensure a great dining experience.

Shift Details: We are currently searching for evening shifts 11:30am to 8:30pm and will require some weekend work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a positive working relationship with all residents, resident families, and guests.
• Maintaining a high degree of resident, family, and guest satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high quality services.
• Effectively and appropriately communicating with each co worker and community leader.
• Prepare, wash and store dishes.
• Clean floors using dry mops, wet mops, brooms and floor cleaning equipment, disinfecting the work area daily.
• Utilize appropriate chemicals and chemical mixtures in all aspects of cleaning duties, handling them appropriately.
• Assist with setting tables, serving meals, and bussing tables.
• Deliver and retrieve kitchen supplies from resident apartments.
• Operate commercial equipment according to manufacturer specification and complete temp logs.
• Assist dining associates in cleaning food service areas and equipment, sweeping and mopping floors and completing assigned cleaning duties.
• Regular and predictable attendance daily.

Qualifications, skills, and abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One to two years of related work experience preferred
• SERVE Safe Certified (or able to achieve certification)
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Ability to safely handle food in accordance with facility policies and procedures, as well as all state and federal regulations.
