Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Clean and sanitize pots, pans, trays, utensils, and silverware to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen 
  • environment.  
  • Remove trash and recycling promptly and ensure waste is disposed of in designated areas.  
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing worktables, 
  • and cleaning refrigerators, walls, and other kitchen surfaces.  
  • Transport and organize supplies and equipment between storage and kitchen areas while restocking 
  • tools and supplies for upcoming shifts.   
  • Monitor and maintain temperature logs while keeping walk-in coolers and freezers clean, organized, 
  • and properly stocked.  
  • Support the kitchen team by assisting cooks with proper food preparation, labeling, dating, and storage 
  • procedures. 
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Previous experience or familiarity with food service safety and sanitation guidelines preferred.   
  • Comfortable using kitchen equipment, hand tools, and machinery required for daily operations.  
  • Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

  • Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen. 
  • Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times. 
  • Must be able to work late nights and unpredictable hours. 
  • Must be able to complete the essential duties of the job with or without accommodation 
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Food handler training preferred.

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
