Description

Part Time Remote Posted 15 hours ago FriendFinder Networks is looking for a part-time Design QA Specialist (UI and UX Quality) to quickly bring on board to help make a difference. About FriendFinder Networks Friend Finder Networks (FFN) is a pioneer in online dating and social networking, founded in 1994. Our flagship platforms include AdultFriendFinder.com, Passion.com, Alt.com, and Cams.com-serving millions of members worldwide who seek authentic adult connections. Our mission is straightforward: we ignite the passion, joy, and excitement of being an adult. Unlike typical tech companies driven by Wall Street, we prioritize member experience over profit maximization. We operate at the intersection of social networking, dating platforms, live video entertainment, and adult content-industries that require unique expertise, regulatory knowledge, and cultural understanding. About the role FriendFinder Networks runs some of the largest dating and social platforms on the web. We are rebuilding our flagship site and need someone with a sharp eye who owns the look, feel and usability of every page we ship. You will be the last line of defense between our design and our members: catching visual and UX issues before release, and pushing for improvements to what's already live. What you'll do Review every new or changed feature against the approved designs for layout, spacing, typography, color, icons, states and copy. Test responsive behavior across desktop, tablet and mobile breakpoints, and across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, iOS Safari and Android Chrome. Check interaction details: hover/focus/active/disabled states, loading and empty states, error messages, animations and transitions. Run UX heuristic reviews of key user flows (signup, profile, search, messaging, payments, live cams) and flag friction, confusion and inconsistency.• Write clear, reproducible bug reports in Jira with annotated screenshots or screen recordings, expected vs. actual, and severity. Maintain a UI regression checklist and visual baseline; partner with QA to add visual regression testing to the release process. Join design reviews and sprint demos to catch issues early, before they reach code. Propose concrete UI/UX improvements to live pages, backed by reasoning, heuristics or competitor examples. Help keep the design system consistent: spot one-off components, mismatched styles and accessibility gaps (contrast, tap targets, keyboard navigation). What you bring 3+ years in design QA, UI/UX QA, visual QA, or a product/UX design role with heavy hands-on review work. A genuinely obsessive eye for detail: you notice 2px misalignments, wrong font weights and inconsistent spacing. Working knowledge of responsive design and browser developer tools (inspect element, device emulation). Solid grasp of UX principles (e.g., Nielsen's heuristics) and basic WCAG accessibility guidelines. Clear written English and a constructive, specific way of giving feedback to designers and developers. Experience with Jira (or similar) and an agile release cycle. You must be 18+ and comfortable reviewing adult-oriented content, including explicit images and live video, as a routine part of the job. Nice to have Experience on consumer web/mobile products with large user bases, especially dating, social or subscription products. Familiarity with HTML/CSS, React or Tailwind - enough to point developers to the likely cause. Experience with visual regression tools (Percy, Chromatic, Applitools, Playwright screenshots). Experience analyzing A/B tests. Why join You will have real ownership: your sign-off decides whether a page is ready to ship, and your suggestions shape a redesign used by millions of members.
