Job Summary

The Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC) is seeking a part-time Compliance Intake Specialist to serve as part of OCRCs team responsible for responding to reports of discrimination, harassment, and/or sexual misconduct under the universitys policies.

Department Specific Responsibilities

  • Monitors and processes incoming reports of sexual misconduct pursuant to university and campus procedures and internal protocols.
  • Conducts informational meetings explaining relevant resources, policies, and procedures to parties involved in the investigation process.
  • Serves as a notetaker during investigation meetings.
  • Assists with preparing formal investigatory reports and/or analyses pursuant to procedures and internal protocols.
  • Assists OCRC in coordinating the universitys compliance with civil rights laws by handling other related duties and initiatives as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelors degree.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 2 years of experience in a related area including: legal, compliance, investigatory, or related field.

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Additional Information

Applicants who can generally have hours scheduled all 5 days are highly preferred.

Indianapolis, Indiana or Bloomington, Indiana

Advertised Salary

$25.00 - $30.00 an hour depending upon qualifications.

Work Hours

Scheduled between 9:00 AM -5:00 PM

Monday -Friday

Estimated 20 hours a week.
