Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Building Maintenance Technician to help ensure our facility remains safe, and fully operational. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic maintenance skills, and the ability to work independently. Position is for weekend night shifts, approximately 5pm-12pm. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks including minor repairs, and basic plumbing/electrical knowledge.
- Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify and address maintenance needs
- Monitor building systems (HVAC, lighting, etc.) and report issues promptly
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal
Qualifications: - Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
Preferred Skills: - Experience working in commercial or office buildings
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems
- Flexibility to handle occasional emergency calls
