Are you semi-retired but still want to work part time. Flexible work schedule. Oil & Gas company is Katy area seeking part time CNC machinist.

• Be able to set-up a manual or CNC machine with minimal assistance. 
• Read, interpret drawings, and use this information to set up the machine.
• General understanding of quality measurements of produced parts. This includes simple devices such as calipers, tri-mics, ring gauges, and measuring equipment.
• Create CNC programs for CNC Machines using CAD/Cam software.
• Edit existing CNC programs to adjust to changes in performance.
• Create tooling setup sheets for the programs generated
•  Inspects machines for general wear and tear, oil leaks, and general maintenance functions.
• Flexibility to train on and operate several different types of equipment
• CAD/CAM software training (preferably CREO software)
•  Machining operations and functions of CNC machine tools
• Follow company HSE guidelines at all times, attend and actively participate in HSE training exercises.
• General machining understanding including operations, drawings, and programing.
