Description

Part-Time Bookkeeper

Location: Allendale, MI
Compensation: Up to $26/hour
Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week), flexible schedule between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday | Fully onsite

Responsibilities

QuickBooks Online

Perform bank reconciliations for multiple clients
Process accounts receivable and match customer payments to invoices
Code accounts payable transactions for clients, including businesses that have recently acquired smaller entities
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are properly recorded

QuickBooks Desktop

Enter vendor activity, including invoices, checks, and payments
Post historical financial activity for a client
Input checks and deposits, reconcile accounts, and prepare journal entries as needed

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
Experience using QuickBooks Online

Preferred:

QuickBooks Desktop experience
Previous public accounting experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Journal entry experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
