Compensation Type: Hourly + Tips
Role Overview
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing and serving beverages in a fast, friendly, and professional manner. This role ensures the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and compliant with all alcohol service laws while providing high-quality service that encourages repeat visits and maximizes sales.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with recipes and standards.
Engage with guests, answer menu questions, and make recommendations.
Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout shifts.
Restock beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies as needed.
Support bar promotions and special events to drive sales.
Process payments quickly and accurately using the POS system.
Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws and company policies.
Check IDs to verify legal drinking age when necessary.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Work closely with the Bar Supervisor and other bartenders to maintain smooth operations.
Communicate low stock levels, maintenance needs, or guest feedback to leadership.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of basic bartending techniques and beverage recipes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Comfortable handling money and operating a POS system.
Team-oriented with a professional, positive attitude.
Experience:
Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
Must meet the minimum age requirement for alcohol service (21+).
Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred or willingness to obtain.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Comfortable working in a busy, high-noise environment.
May require evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
