    JOB TITLE:              Part-Time Automotive / Equipment Mechanic           
     
    DEPARTMENT:      Grounds Maintenance            
     
    REPORTS TO:         CFO
     
                           
    PURPOSE OF POSITION:
    The purpose of this position is to carry out preventive maintenance and repairs of lawn care equipment and other automobiles and the ability to utilize the tools to ensure that equipment is in good working condition. 
     
    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    2 - 5 years of experience with repairing lawn mowers and / or automobiles.
    Ability to effectively and safely use mechanic’s tools and equipment.
    Ability to communicate equipment issues to Management and understand job assignments.
    Ability to assess and exhibits a clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety.
     
    DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES:
     
    •Troubleshoot equipment problems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
    •Performing safety inspections on equipment.
    •Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
    •Conducting preventive maintenance when needed.
    •Cleaning work vehicle and work area, as necessary to maintain a safe work environment.
    •Meeting all company, governmental, and equipment related safety requirements.
    •Perform preventative maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels on all equipment.
    •Additional duties as assigned by management.
    •Help train mechanics and mechanic helpers.
    •Supervisory responsibilities such as monitor and direct work of mechanics and mechanic helpers.
