If you are not a resident, you have six (6) months from your date of hire to establish residency.Job DescriptionThe employee(s) shall preside over a hearing or appeal relating to charges of municipal code violations, statutory violations and fee disputes relative to matters that constitute a danger or threat to the public health, safety or welfare consistent with New York State General Municipal Law Article 14-BB for proceedings. The employee will report to the Director and Chief Administrative Law Judge of the Bureau of Administrative Adjudication. This is an important administrative function involving specialized professional legal work for the Bureau of Administrative Adjudication within the Department of Finance for the City of Syracuse.
