Your Role at Hayward: In our high-velocity fulfillment hub, you are the keystone. Be the energy and precision behind every package:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Varied Tasks: You're versatile - pivoting across tasks as required.

• Kitchen Support: Sometimes, you'll be the added hand in the kitchen.

• Safety First: Maintain cleanliness and safety. Be at home in varied temperature zones. Follow proper guidelines while working with ovens.

• English proficiency: Reading and writing.

• Technology Driven: You're comfortable using scanning equipment and troubleshooting to achieve 100% accuracy and fulfillment

• Truck loading : assist with loading ovens and cold cambros for delivery. In this role, you will follow instructions carefully to ensure that items are loaded in the correct order for efficient transport. You must also be comfortable using the lift gate for loading

• Additional Functions and Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• No prior experience or skills are required: however, a CA Food Handlers Certificate is a plus
• Education: High School equivalent education
• Language: You are able to read and write in English

Physical Nitty-Gritties:

• Mobility: Move, walk, reach, stoop, bend, push, pull, talk or hear. You're always on the go and communicating with team members, supervisors and leads.
• Strength: Lift packages, occasionally, these can be up to 50 lbs. Be prepared to maneuver oven racks and HFBs upwards of 250 lbs safely and operate lift gates
• Environment: Mostly warehouse settings with moderate noise level. Sometimes, you might feel the chill of the walk-in refrigerator/freezer or heat of the ovens.
• Specific vision abilities: requires close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
