Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk for a 13-week contract with one of our respected healthcare partners in Rancho Mirage, California.

Job Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare payments in accordance with established accounting procedures
- Maintain organized vendor files and financial records
- Reconcile vendor statements and respond to payment inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing activities and accounts payable reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to complete daily responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry while maintaining confidentiality of financial information
- Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and finance departments to support daily operations
Education & Certification Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or higher-level degree required
- Minimum of three (3) years of accounts payable experience in a centralized purchasing and receiving environment
- Healthcare accounts payable experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to use a ten-key calculator by touch
- Typing speed of 4050 words per minute
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
