Lifesteps in Butler, PA is hiring a part-time Accounting Associate to support the Fiscal and Accounting Department.

The Accounting Associate job duties could include:
- processes daily receipts and transactions
- assists with bookkeeping records
- manage accounts payable or accounts receivables
- reconcile bank statements
- assist with preparing monthly and quarterly reports
- communicate with vendors and agency clients
The part-time role is 20 hours per week, working only Monday through Friday. No Evenings, No Weekends, No Holidays.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years' experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Auditing or Tax Preparation OR Associates Degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong typing, analytical and computer skills with attention to detail
- Excellent thought processing, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Current driver's license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficient with Abila Fund Accounting (MIP) or Unicentric ServicExpert systems
- Knowledge of Excel Pivot Tables
