Description

We are seeking a patient, organized, and encouraging tutor to support a rising ninth-grade student in the South Charlotte area.

He is a kind student who genuinely wants to do well in school and would benefit from all-around academic support, with a particular focus on strengthening executive functioning skills. The ideal tutor will help him build practical systems for organization, time management, assignment tracking, study skills, and planning while also providing support across her academic subjects.

Schedule: Once per week to begin

Availability: After-school hours

Location: South Charlotte area

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience tutoring or teaching middle or high school students
  • Experience supporting 9th-grade academic coursework across multiple subjects
  • Strong understanding of executive functioning strategies, including organization systems, time management, assignment tracking, study skills, and planning
  • Patient, organized, dependable, and encouraging
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to the South Charlotte area
