    Part 145 Technician / Engineer - FL - June25 - 0103

    Our client is seeking Technicians and Engineers to join their team in Florida to perform inspection, repair, testing, and certification of aircraft components and systems in accordance with FAA, EASA, Part 145 regulations. This role has a strong emphasis on Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS), and component-level support of FAA PMA and STC products. The technician/engineer may also support the company's design and production teams under Part 21 approvals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform bench-level repair, test, and certification of aircraft avionics and electronic components, especially those covered under PMA and STC approvals.

    • Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of EWIS components, with a focus on circuitry for radio, navigation, and communication systems.

    • Apply EWIS best practices in installation, routing, and repair

    • Support the company by preparing, inspecting, and certifying rotables and serviceable units for customer dispatch.

    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer maintenance documentation.

    • Complete work records, tags, and documentation in accordance with FAA, EASA, etc. regulations.

    • Collaborate with in-house engineering and production teams for installation and maintenance of PMA and STC parts.

    • Ensure compliance with company manuals, regulatory requirements, and quality control standards.

    • Perform modification and upgrade activities on electrical and avionics systems, including incorporation of service bulletins and engineering orders.

    • Participate in internal audits, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Maintain shop equipment and workspaces according to safety and cleanliness standards.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Required:

    • FAA A&P Certificate or equivalent qualification (e.g., EASA Part-66 License)

    • Experience in a Part 145 maintenance or avionics environment

    • Hands-on experience with avionics/electronic component repair and testing

    • Experience working with PMA or STC parts, including installation or repair

    • Familiarity with dual-release (FAA/EASA) maintenance documentation and procedures

    • Use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, etc.
