Parks Technician I
FULL-TIME REGULAR
Starting annual salary $34,756 ($16.71 an hour)

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Performs a wide variety of entry level semi-skilled duties related to planning, coordinating and directing all phases of park maintenance to include turf management and beautification, irrigation systems, shade structures, and construction and repair.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EQUIPMENT USED:
Knowledge to include use of landscaping equipment, maintenance equipment. Knowledge on using a two-way radio, ladders, work tools, power tool, tractor, and gator.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes required to read, write, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Often needs to climb up to a 16-foot ladder.
The employee must occasionally lift up to sixty (60) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
