Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces Security Officer

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. One year of experience in park and recreation services, security/protective services, or military or civilian law enforcement are required. Must possess a Driver license. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays on a varying work schedule.

Recruitment Notes

Provides safety and security for the entire Deering Estate, including People's Dock, Powers Property, and Deering Point, in a three-shift schedule to cover 24-hour operations. Provides good customer service and assistance to patrons. Schedule: No more than 29 hrs/week, may include weekend and Holidays.
