Parking Valet Attendant

The Parking/Valet Attendant NE ensures a safe, efficient, and welcoming experience for patients, visitors, and staff by managing valet parking services, assisting with mobility needs, and maintaining parking operations. This role is responsible for secure vehicle handling, accurate fee collection, operational readiness of parking equipment, and responsive support in urgent situations, all while delivering exceptional customer service and upholding safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely, ensuring they are locked and secure
when unattended - Assist patients and visitors in and out of vehicles, providing wheelchair
transport as needed - Maintain accurate organization and placement of valet keys for quick
and secure access - Inspect vehicles prior to valet service and document any pre-existing
damage with patient/visitor acknowledgment - Support patient and visitor transport to and from buildings, testing
sites, and floors - Respond to urgent situations such as Code Blue, Code Green, or falls
when in the immediate area - eliver gift shop items or assist with minor errands within the facility
as assigned - Exhibit professionalism, confidentiality, and a service-oriented attitude
in all interactions - Maintain accurate cash balance and ensure all receipts are processed per Cashier’s Office protocols
- Collect parking fees, validate tickets accurately, and charge them to appropriate departments
- Monitor parking gate equipment; test and ensure ticket spitters, gate arms, and supplies (e.g., ink, tickets) are functioning properly
- Track daily activity, vehicle traffic, and ramp capacity to ensure smooth parking flow and traffic control
- Report equipment issues or unusual incidents promptly to appropriate personnel
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification:
Experience:
- Good Driving Record
- 6 Months Customer service experience.
