Job DescriptionThe work involves responsibility for patrolling an assigned area of the City of Syracuse to ensure that parked vehicles are not in violation of City Ordinance and NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law. The employee issues tickets to those vehicles found in violation of the law. Assignments are received from a Commanding Officer or his/her designated supervisory staff member within the Community Policing Bureau in the Syracuse Police Department. Supervision is not exercised by this class.
