Parish Missions Coordinator
As part of the Mission Advancement Office at the Angelicum, the Parish Missions Coordinator will be responsible for the development and execution of the University's growing American parish missions program, working closely with the director of parish missions, Fr. Benedict Croell.

Reports to: Chief Advancement Officer

Responsibilities:
  1. Recruit new parishes to host the Angelicum friars for parish missions.
    1. Create introductory brochure introducing the Angelicum Parish Missions to prospective pastors/parish councils.
    2. Put together comprehensive list of American parishes.
    3. Analyze American parish master list according to zip code, net worth, and demographics to prioritize A, B, and C tier target parishes,,
    4. Create letter and email templates to reach out to contacts at parishes.
    5. Through research, acquire contact information for target parishes.
    6. Reach out to target parishes, attempting to secure introductory meetings with leadership.
    7. Clearly share scope of parish missions (program and content, costs, logistics, dates, expectations, collections) and secure commitments.
  2. Coordination and relations with parishes in the lead up to and following the missions.
    1. In months and weeks leading up to parish mission communicate with parishes to adequately prepare for events.
    2. During parish mission be available to coordinate last minute logistics or emergencies.
    3. Follow up with parish to receive payment, donations, and feedback.
    4. Properly steward parish relationship through timely thank you/acknowledgment and professional closing out of engagement.
    5. Maintain good relationship with parish leadership, as necessary, for the possibility of an invitation to return for a second mission.
  3. Manage relationships with friars who will preach the missions.
    1. Work closely with Fr. Benedict Croell, director of parish missions.
    2. Grow and manage bullpen of friars, both at Angelicum and in the United States, able to go on parish missions.
    3. Coordinate which friars will go to which missions.
    4. Onboard all new friars with adequate training and preparation for parish missions.
    5. Steward subset of friars along path to become parish mission leaders.
    6. Provide clear guidance and logistical support to friars leading up to and during each parish mission.
    7. Ensure some friars take photos to document their parish mission experience and provide images for follow up emails.
  4. Parish mission financials.
    1. Collect reimbursement receipts from friars.
    2. Coordinate with Controller at International Dominican Foundation to issue reimbursements and close out all financials on each parish mission.
    3. Follow up with parishes when reimbursement checks/donations not received in a timely manner.
    4. Maintain parish missions dashboard in Salesforce to track results of each parish mission.
