Paraprofessional Substitute
Honor School District - Honor Elementary & Honor Intermediate
Honor School District is seeking dependable, caring, and flexible individuals to serve as Paraprofessional Substitutes at Honor Elementary and Honor Intermediate. Paraprofessional substitutes play an important role in supporting students and staff when regular paraprofessionals are absent.
Responsibilities
Paraprofessional substitutes may be asked to:
Support students in the classroom under the direction of a teacher.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce classroom instruction.
Assist students with academic, behavioral, social, or physical needs.
Provide supervision during lunch, recess, hallways, arrival, dismissal, and other school activities.
Help students remain engaged, organized, and successful throughout the school day.
Follow classroom routines, student support plans, and staff directions.
Assist with classroom organization and other duties as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when working with students, families, and staff.
Help provide a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for all students.
