Paraprofessional
Location: Dunmore, PA
Schedule: Full-time, M-F 8am-2:30pm, Hourly position; you are only paid for the hours that you work.
Caseload: K-12, Autistic Support, Multiple Disabilities, and Life Skills classrooms
Additional Details: Paraprofessionals will provide services during the school calendar year and will follow the school calendar for days off, holidays, etc. Summers are off; ESY may be available but is not guaranteed.

What you’ll do as a Paraprofessional
A Paraprofessional's functions are to increase the quality of education by assisting students with instructional and non-instructional activities. Paraprofessionals are not responsible for the design, direction, or evaluation of the teaching/learning process. Because the Paraprofessional is assisting students, regular attendance is required to fulfill the duties of this position. A Paraprofessional may be used in any instructional situation under the direct, immediate supervision of a certified professional to perform those tasks specified in the job description. The role of the assistant varies according to the program assignment.
