Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly experienced CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCP (Personal Care Provider) to provide Community Living Support (CLS) and Respite Care services for a 10-year-old child with special needs in Halifax County, NC.
This is a meaningful opportunity to positively impact a child’s development while providing critical support to the family.
Position Details
  • Location: Halifax County, NC
  • Ideal candidates willing to commute from: Franklin, Wake, or Nash Counties (all counties acceptable)
  • Experience Required: 10+ years in healthcare, home health, or pediatric special needs
  • Employment Type: Part-time or PRN (schedule to be discussed)
  • Male provider preferred
Responsibilities
  • Provide Community Living Support (CLS) services in accordance with the individualized care plan
  • Deliver structured and supportive respite care
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Support behavioral, developmental, and social skill goals
  • Promote safety, independence, and confidence
  • Encourage and facilitate integration with like-minded peers to assist with appropriate socialization and community engagement
  • Maintain professional boundaries and therapeutic communication
Qualifications
  • Active CNA certification or documented experience as a Personal Care Provider
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Pediatric special needs experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting social skill development and community integration
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to commute
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a home setting
