Position: Paraprofessional

Location: Honor School District (Honor Elementary and Honor Intermediate)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6.5 hours per day

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

The Honor School District is seeking caring, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Paraprofessional. This position provides instructional and behavioral support to students while working alongside classroom teachers and other school staff. Responsibilities

• Support students individually and in small groups with academic learning.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities.
• Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage student independence while providing appropriate guidance and support.
• Assist students with organization, classroom routines, and transitions.
• Support students with behavioral, social-emotional, and communication needs as directed.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, field trips, and other school activities as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the school day.
• Ability to assist students with mobility and daily school activities as needed.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors during various weather conditions.
