    The Miami County Educational Service Center provides special education programs and student support services to public schools located in Miami County.

    We are seeking professional individuals who would like to join our team as a paraprofessional in our classrooms: Piqua, Troy and the Cooperative Learning Center (Troy, Ohio).

    • Staring hourly rate (with full benefits) is $17.68 (increases available based on degree status and prior experience).
    • In addition to the locations listed above, the ESC may be hiring at other locations throughout Miami County.

    Candidates will provide:

    • Classroom support for students with multiple disabilities or emotional disturbances
    • Classrooms range from Kindergarten to High School aged students

    Candidates must have:

    • A high school diploma or GED
    • Must be 18 years of age by start date.
    • An Educational Aide Permit (or will obtain)
    • Must complete and have satisfactory results on BCI and FBI Background Checks

    Long-Term Career Growth - Opportunities for High Performing Staff : The Miami County ESC is particularly interested in paraprofessionals that have a long-term goal of becoming an intervention specialist and a passion for serving students with disabilities. Tuition assistance and other Grow Our Own opportunities may be available to high performing paraprofessionals with at least two years of experience with the Miami County ESC.
