Responsibilities :
Work under the direction of Supervisory Paralegal or Project Supervisor
Compile, prepare, and summarize materials for use by attorneys
Summarize depositions and transcripts
Maintain case files and perform simple legal research
Index, track, and control document discovery
Assist attorneys in courtroom
Review documents for relevance and privilege
Compile documents for FOIA, production requests, etc.
Required Skills:
At least one year of litigation paralegal or project experience
Automated litigation support experience valued
Basic legal knowledge and experience with legal research tools like LEXIS and Westlaw
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with computer applications (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging)
Knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources
Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure
Education:
Paralegal certificate, JD, or completion of at least one year at an ABA-accredited law school
