This position is located in our Tallahassee office.Job OverviewThis position supports our Heirs' Property Project, assisting clients with legal matters involving heirs' property, probate and estate administration, title issues, and real property ownership.ResponsibilitiesParalegals at LSNF work collaboratively with legal professionals in civil litigation and administrative law to strategize and advocate on behalf of clients. The role involves client communications, conducting interviews, preparing documents, drafting letters, legal motions, and orders, and maintaining accurate confidential records.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong experience in e‑filing, client interviews, and document preparation. Proficiency in drafting letters, legal motions, and orders in accordance with jurisdictional requirements is essential. Experience with outreach, community education, or public presentations is a plus.Minimum QualificationsCompletion of a legal assistant or paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association, ORHave a two‑year or four‑year degree,Year‑for‑year work experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary may be substituted for an education requirement,A Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar Association.Salary & BenefitsSalary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
