Paralegal
Position Summary
PopStroke is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Legal team and support the continued growth of the business. This role will work closely with our General Counsel and cross-functional partners across Development, Construction, Facilities, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Risk Management.
With PopStroke continuing to expand into new markets, this role will play an important part in keeping our real estate transactions, corporate records, legal matters, and critical deadlines organized and moving forward. The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable managing multiple priorities at once, and knows how to stay three steps ahead in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
Real Estate & Development
· Support commercial real estate transactions from letter of intent through closing, construction, and post-opening operations by maintaining transaction checklists, calendars, files, and critical deadlines.
· Assist with the preparation, review, execution, and organization of leases, purchase and sale agreements, amendments, easements, estoppels, closing documents, construction-related agreements, and other real estate documentation.
· Coordinate real estate due diligence, including title commitments, surveys, environmental reports, zoning materials, recorded documents, and other property information.
· Track critical dates and obligations across PopStroke’s real estate portfolio, including renewal and extension options, notice deadlines, rent commencement dates, and other lease requirements.
· Manage document execution and closing logistics, including signature packets, notarizations, delivery of closing materials, and compilation of final closing binders.
· Maintain organized and accurate real estate and development records, ensuring executed documents and key information are readily accessible to internal partners.
Corporate & Legal Support
· Maintain corporate records and assist with corporate governance matters, including entity filings, resolutions, written consents, certificates, and other organizational documents.
· Assist with maintaining legal entity information and coordinating required filings and documentation across jurisdictions.
· Support the General Counsel with the preparation, organization, and management of legal documents and matters across the business.
· Coordinate signatures, approvals, document routing, and record retention for legal agreements and corporate documents.
· Help develop and maintain legal form templates, matter-management systems, and departmental processes that improve efficiency and consistency.
Claims, Risk & Operational Support
· Support operational, claims, and incident-management matters by collecting records, organizing files, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate matter documentation.
· Coordinate with internal teams, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and outside counsel as needed to support claims and other legal matters.
· Assist with document collection and organization related to litigation, disputes, investigations, subpoenas, and other legal requests.
· Serve as a responsive Legal partner to Development, Construction, Facilities, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Risk Management.
Qualifications
· 3+ years of paralegal or legal support experience, preferably with experience in commercial real estate, development, construction, or an in-house corporate legal environment.
· Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions and working with leases, amendments, title and survey materials, closing documents, and related agreements.
· Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage numerous transactions, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
· Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in document preparation, tracking, and recordkeeping.
· Ability to independently drive administrative and transactional processes forward and proactively identify what needs to happen next.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with executives, internal business partners, outside counsel, vendors, and other third parties.
· Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
· Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift quickly.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with legal document-management, matter-management, or contract-management systems.
· Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
