Department purpose and structure

Role purpose
The paralegal role will support the U.S. Compensation, Employment, Pensions and Governance practice group by providing comprehensive legal and administrative support, with a strong focus on research and writing, governance, and operational excellence. The role coordinates and manages a broad range of legal, transactional, and practice support activities, including precedent research, agreement preparation and management, regulatory and entity related matters, and support for pension and benefits meetings. This position plays a key role in facilitating internal and client meetings, managing compliance related activities and filings, maintaining legal resources and precedents, and supporting business development efforts and pro bono engagements. This function plays a critical role in enabling practice efficiency, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables, and maintaining high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and client service, while also providing cross practice backup support and assistance with special initiatives as required.
