    A well-established boutique law firm in Alpharetta is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its busy litigation practice. This role is ideal for a paralegal who is comfortable managing cases from discovery through trial and enjoys working closely with attorneys in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Insurance defense experience is strongly preferred.

    The firm offers a supportive culture and the opportunity to work remotely one day per week after the initial 60-day training period.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation
    • Draft discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, pleadings, correspondence, and other litigation documents
    • Review and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, discovery materials, and case documents
    • Coordinate and manage document production, including organization, review, and Bates labeling
    • Prepare deposition materials, exhibits, witness files, trial notebooks, and other case materials
    • Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors
    • Track case deadlines, discovery obligations, and other critical dates
    • Assist attorneys with case investigation, factual research, and development of case chronologies
    • Maintain organized case files and ensure matters remain on track from inception through resolution
    • Provide hands-on support during mediation, hearings, and trial preparation as needed

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience required
    • Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
    • Strong understanding of the litigation process, discovery procedures, and court requirements
    • Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and deposition transcripts preferred
    • Excellent written communication, proofreading, and organizational skills
    • Ability to independently manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Experience with NetDocuments and/or Orion is a plus
