Description
Paralegal needed on long-term temporary. potental temporary-to-hire job opportunity. This position is onsite Monday through Friday from 9am until 5pm.
This will be primarily assisting homeowners facing default, tax foreclosure, and housing loss.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform Intake- initial interviews and in-depth screening of applicants for eligibility and services and follow-up investigations for eligible clients
- Perform administrative and general clerical duties, including front desk coverage, as needed
- Provide assistance to clients under the supervision of an attorney
- Assist with preparation of rental arrears applications, including compiling necessary documentation for services
- Maintain both physical and electronic files
- If bilingual, perform translation and interpretation
Qualifications
Please have Paralegal experience.
Associate Degree and Certification in Paralegal Studies is a plus.
Non-profit experience is a plus.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Microsoft Office skills.
