Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Paralegal, your responsibilities will be diverse and essential to the smooth running of our legal operations. They include:

1. Providing legal assistance to our team of lawyers, including preparing legal documents, conducting research, and ensuring all documents are properly filed and organized.

2. Managing cases from inception through resolution, including maintaining detailed case files, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all case documents are accurately recorded and updated.

3. Ensuring legal compliance in all operations by staying abreast of current laws, rulings, and regulations, and advising the legal team accordingly.

4. Reviewing and summarizing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and discovery requests, and drafting legal memoranda and briefs.

5. Providing litigation support, which includes preparing for trials, organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, and managing all trial-related logistics.

6. Collaborating with the legal team to strategize on case management and ensure all legal procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department.

2. A Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved institution, or equivalent.

3. Proficiency in legal research tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

4. Excellent knowledge of legal procedures, terminologies, and document review.

5. Strong experience in case management, legal compliance, and litigation support.

6. Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal information clearly and succinctly.

8. A proactive work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
