Personal Injury / Workers’ Compensation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a busy litigation practice handling Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation matters. We are open to candidates with experience in Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, or a combination of both. Candidates do not need experience in both practice areas to be considered.

Responsibilities

Depending on experience, responsibilities may include:

  • Assist attorneys with Personal Injury and/or Workers’ Compensation matters
  • Manage case files from intake through resolution
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and documentation
  • Obtain and organize medical records, bills, employment records, and other case materials
  • Prepare correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
  • Assist with written discovery and document production
  • Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules
  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, independent medical examinations, and other case-related matters
  • Communicate with medical providers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties
  • Assist with settlement preparation and resolution
  • Provide litigation and trial preparation support as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior paralegal or substantive legal support experience
  • Experience with Personal Injury and/or Workers’ Compensation matters
  • Strong organizational and case-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Familiarity with litigation procedures and legal documentation

Experience on either the plaintiff or defense side will be considered.
